Blanched Sliced Almonds
Sliced thinly lengthwise. Ideal for garnishing cakes and cookies; roast and toss in couscous; sprinkle on apple pie before baking; roast and mix into salads.
Add to cookies, cakes, sweet breads, muffins and puddings; use as a breading for meats and vegetables; mix into sauces to bind and thicken.
